A member of the House of Representatives and Governorship aspirant in Rivers State, Hon. Doctor Farah Dagogo , has assured the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa of that 10-million man march will be held in their support in the Niger Delta ahead the 2023 Presidential election.
The Federal Lawmaker said a plan for the 10-million-man-is already at an advanced stage and will be held in the coming days across the Niger Delta states to further galvanise the people and ‘prove to naysayers that the region is for PDP.’ In a statement by his media aide, Ibrahim Lawal, the lawmaker dismissed fears of protest votes from the region against the party as a result of the PDP Presidential primaries.
He said the people of the Niger Delta still hold the PDP in awe as the only party that ensured the region produced the President of the country through Goodluck Jonathan. He also claimed to have spoken with real voters and not those he described as political sycophants.
