A group, Concerned Imo Stakeholders Forum Worldwide (CISFW), has urged Governor Hope Uzodimma to expedite action in recovering funds and assets allegedly looted by previous administrations of the state
The group made the call during a press conference in Owerri on Tuesday.

Its director general, Comrade Edede Franklyne Maduabuchi, commended the Uzodimma administration for its courage to recover the assets and resources of the state.

The group said it will come against any person or group standing in the way of the state government in its bid to actualize the recovery.

“We wish to leverage on this opportunity to appreciate the courage of Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, for the rare courage of embarking on the most desired herculean task of recovering all looted funds and assets of the previously impoverished Imolites and beckon on him to expedite action in ensuring that every looted or diverted koko of Ndi Imo is recovered from the past horrible regimes”, the group submitted.
The group lauded the governor whom it said is performing wonderfully.
