A group, Rochas Presidential Mandate Group (RPMG), has declared that the former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has the capacity to lead Nigeria.
The group stated this through its National Chairman, Ubah John Onyewuchi, while addressing its members during a meeting in Owerri on Monday.
RPMG maintained that the Senator, who represents Orlu Senatorial District is competent and has all it takes to rule Nigeria from 2023, adding that the erstwhile governor has a divine mandate to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group regretted that the South East has been politically and economically marginalized in Nigeria, hence the ‘divine call for Okorocha to become president in 2023 with a divine mandate of rescuing the Igbo out of political and economic deprivation’.
RPMG, being a group which has members across the 27 local government areas of Imo State, presented a cheque of 20 million naira to Okorocha to enable him purchase the APC presidential form in 2023.
