The Immediate past Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emeka Nduka Anthony, has urged people not to complain too much over hardship because Nigeria will reach the Promised Land.

Nduka gave the encouragement when he spoke with media professionals at Rockview Hotel Owerri on Sunday during the 10th Concert Anniversary, Dolce Symphonia by Donaldian Ensemble Ent.

He urged citizens not to lose hope, but persevere as the country is going to be better in due course, saying every organized society has peculiar challenges which he added have always been assuaged by good leadership, ideas and policies.

Nduka who commended the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, for organizing the celebration of Nigeria’s 63 Independence Anniversary in the state, said there is every reason to mark the significant day in the country.

He ceased the opportunity to call on Imo people to give Uzodimma their second mandate to enable him consolidate his good works for the good of the people.

“The 62 Independence Anniversary Celebration was good. We started the celebration with a Thanksgiving Mass at Maria Asumpta Cathedral Owerri. It is always nice to appreciate God for making the day possible. The celebration culminated at the Banquet Hall, Government House Owerri. Of course, Nigeria is growing at 63 in many aspects and we are sure of getting to the Promised Land”, the Speaker Emeritus maintained.

However, Nduka appreciated the organizer of the Dolce Symphonia Music Ensemble, Donaldian Ensemble Ent, for entertaining people with fantastic songs. He encouraged the musicians to keep the tempo.
