Coordinator of South East for President (SEPORP2023), Europe, High Chief (Amb.) Paddy Patrick Duru, has said that South easterners in Europe are fully in support of an Igbo becoming the president of Nigeria in 2023.
He affirmed that the South easterners in Europe have come together to support every advocacy that can help Igbos to realize their dream of ruling Nigeria in 2023.

Duru disclosed this while addressing members of SEPORP2023, Imo State chapter, during her stakeholders meeting, held on Wednesday, at Bongo Square, Owerri.
Duru, who said he lives in Germany, maintained that it was the turn of Igbos to produce president of Nigeria in 2023, just as the North, the South West and the South South have produced for equity, justice and fairness to be maintained in the country, saying that the political marginalization of Igbos who contribute immensely to the sustenance and development of Nigeria should stop.

“Irrespective of political party leanings, Igbos want to take that which belongs to us. South easterners are intact in Germany and the entire Europe, uniting and working to realize Igbo Presidency in 2023. Other tribes have had their own turn. Now it is the turn of Igbos to rule Nigeria in 2023 to maintain equity and federal character”, Duru stressed.

Earlier, Coordinator of SEPORP2023, Imo State chapter, Victor Nwachukwu, , called on South easterners to join hands with the advocacy group in order to achieve the goal of Nigeria Presidency of Igbo extraction in 2023.
Nwachukwu, while advising other tribes who had ruled Nigeria to support Igbos to produce president of Nigeria in 2023 if fairness and equity are to be considered, extolled the efforts of the National Coordinator of SEPORP2023, Rev. Obiora in lifting the group to enviable heights.
