The President, Vision Africa International, Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha has warned of looming war between the poor and the rich in Nigeria in the future.

Onuoha, who spoke in Umuahia on Sunday, said the only way such could be averted is for the political class to address the agitations of the common man.

Onuoha lamented that the silence of those at the helm of affairs towards the killings and economic hardship in the country, has worsened an already bad situation.

He wondered how leaders in the country can account for the children of the poor kidnapped on regular basis and the continued shutdown of public universities in the country meant for an average Nigerian while children of the wealthy are in private schools studying.

He appealed to governments at all levels to address the grievances in the country, positing that Nigeria’s situation is not beyond redemption, while calling for peace.
