The Lord Bishop of Egbu Diocese, Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Geoffrey Enyinnaya Okorafor has inaugurated a new legal team for the diocese last Sunday. His Worship, Chief Magistrate Maureen Onyewuotu is the Chancellor while the Deputy Chancellor position went to Sir Aham Ekejelam and Barr. Emeka Nwaneri as the registrar.
The Deputy registrar position went to His Worship Adaego Nosiri while Barr. Sir C.T. Okeke is the Secretary 1. Others among the new legal team are Barr Lady Ethel Echebima, Dr. Lady Chioma Emuka, Barr Ogechi Ajoku and Barr Obinna Nwachukwu as Legal Secretaries.
The Bishop while enthroning the legal team into office during the grand finale of the 2020 Women’s Guild Conference of the diocese held at The Cathedral Church of All Saints Egbu, charged them to use their new positions to work for the Lord and the church in general. He told them to stand by the truth always and diligently serve to the glory of God.
In her maiden speech, the new Lord Chancellor, His Worship, Chief Magistrate Maureen Onyewuotu appreciated the opportunity giving to her by the Holy Spirit through the Lord Bishop.
He promised on behalf of her team not to disappoint in carrying out the onerous task and prayed God to give her and the rest team members the enablement to serve successfully.
