Rivers State Police Command has assured the general public that it will investigate the actual cause of the accident that claimed the lives of occupants of a commercial bus along Port Harcourt-Aba express way.
The assurance came following an accident that claimed about eighteen passengers on board in a commercial bus along Port Harcourt-Aba express way.
A source who comfirmed the accident to News Echo said the accident which occured immediately after Intel’s company on Aba road explained that the bus ran into a truck loaded with woods which had been parked for over three days.
The source said the victims of the accident could not be recognized as Police personal who first visited the scene made frantic efforts to reach out to the respective families through their mobile phones.
The spokesperson of Federal Road Safety Corps, confirm that personnel of the corps have visited the scene but are yet to report back to ascentain the actual number of casualties and cause.
