Abia deputy governor extols Winners Church pastor

The State Pastor of Living Faith Ministry, aka Winners Chapel, in Umuahia, Abia State, Pastor Nwagu Okenwa has celebrated his 50th birthday with a launching of the a book titled “Emotions Are Not Enough”.

In his remarks during the event, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, deputy Governor of Abia State described the event as a celebration of God’s faithfulness and goodness that calls for thanksgiving to God.

The deputy governor commended the pastor for all he has been doing for the state since his posting to the state, especially his supportive roles to the government policies, describing the pastor’s contributions as remarkable to the throne of God which has enabled the state to enjoy relative peace and massive development in all sector.
The deputy governor prayed God to grant Pastor Okenwa many more years of good health to continue to serve in God’s vineyard, as well as impact positively on humanity. He commended the pastor for the book which he said would be of immense benefit to mankind, praying God for sustained blessings upon the clergyman.

Oko Chukwu further charged Christians to remain focused in the service of God and humanity, stressing that the contributions of the pastor had positioned him as a great organizer and and a reliable partner in the transformation of Abia State.

In his message, the former deputy governor of Abia State, Hon. Eric Acho Nwakanma lauded the clergyman for dedicating his life to the work of God, adding, “It is exciting that Pastor Nwagu Okenwa has dedicated his life to full service in the vineyard of the Lord. I am certain that his 50th birthday anniversary is just the beginning of more amazing things to come”.

He thanked God for His divine mercy upon Pastor Nwagu and pray Him to continue to grant him the grace to grow from strength to strength and more blessings to his ministry.
