Swiss Health Care Celebrates Children’s Day with City of David’s Children’s Home.

For children of City of David’s Children’s Home Asaba, Delta State, it was joy unending as Swiss Health Care celebrated with them in a grand style.

The mini party, which took place on 27th May, 2025 at the Orphanage centre by Falcon’s Club road via DLA road, Asaba was in celebration of the International Children’s Day.

Speaking at the visit, the Medical Director, Swiss Health Care, MLS Jackson Grant Njoku said it is “an honour coming to celebrate Children’s Day in City of David’s Children’s Home because they are blessed children. God listens to you more and takes care of you children. So we have come to celebrate this special day with you and pray together”.

 

For Swiss Health Care, this is part of our corporate social responsibilities for the year which is giving back to society.

 

He noted that Swiss Health Care is a diagnostic health centre where you can undergo medical checks and reliable laboratory services.

 

In her address, the Director, City of David’s Children’s Home, Evang Dr. Hephzibah Akiode expressed happiness at the visit. According to her, the orphanage has produced quality and responsible children and adults, noting that some are undergoing academic studies.

 

“We have twenty-two students from this Orphanage studying different courses in the university ranging from criminology, mass communication, micro biology, public administration, among others.

 

The event was hallmarked by the presentation of cash, food materials, clothings and other gift items for the children, dance play and photo shoots.
