It was a joyful moment for the families of Emejulu in Onitsha, Onitsha north local government area of Anambra state as Creative Minds Foundation Alumni Onitsha visited and celebrated one of their illustrious teachers, Mrs. Ngozi Emejulu, nee Erikigwe.

The event which took place on Friday at her residence in Onitsha had top government officials, doctors, bankers, business moguls and other prominent members of the society who went through the school in attendance.
Speaking on behalf of the association, Mr. Patrick Ilodi expressed gratitude to God for making the visitation a success.

“I am filled with joy being here today to celebrate with one of our amiable and most dogged teachers in CMF, an Igbo adage has it that when a mother trains a child to be responsible adult, it is expected that the child in return trains the mother and that is why we are here to thank God and also thank her for her motherly love and care during our secondary school old days.

Responding, Mrs. Emejulu said she was short of words as she never expected the huge show of love.
“Today I am 54, in everything I give thanks to God.

“Even when I have not gotten married I started teaching and assisting them because they were my children and I thank God for making them what they are today, my prayers are that they will excel in whatever they are doing and may the almighty God replenish their pockets”.

“I was very much happy, my children really surprised me. At a time I started crying because they showed me much love and appreciated me beyond human imagination”.

She equally used the opportunity to advice fellow teachers to put in their best because one might not know where the help will come from, adding that to be good pays.

Earlier, Mrs. Ngozi Gwacham prayed to God to give her more good health and fulfillment in life while asking God for more blessings on behalf of the association.

Speaking on behalf of the Emejulu family, Hon. Barr Afam Emejulu said the gathering called for emulation of other alumnus because it is so endearing while appreciating the benevolence attitude of the association.
