Ngor-Okpala APC Assembly candidate bags PhD at IMSU, promises fair representation By Ikenna Orioha The APC candidate for Ngor-OKpala State Constituency Seat in the 2023 election, Hon. Prince Obinna Ambrose Egu, has bagged PhD in History and International Studies from Imo State University (IMSU) Owerri.
The PhD was awarded to Egu by the university during its 8th Convocation Ceremony, held last week, at the University’s Convocation Pavilion. Egu who said the PhD award was due to his hard and firm academic work, thanked God for strengthening him to achieve the feat which he described as a huge academic success.
He said he is recontesting to represent the good people of Ngor-OKpala at the State Assembly in order to do more human-driven projects that will encourage the people to actively engage in productive activities to fend properly for themselves to overcome poverty, suffering, hardship and violence.
However, Egu appealed to the people to see him as the best candidate in the contest and give him their mandate, saying he will not disappoint them.
