A woman identified as Mrs. Chinagorom Frank and her son have been kidnapped by unknown men at Etiti Asa, Ukwa West L.G.A. of Abia State, a few meters to their home.

The kidnappers, according to a community source, operated with motorcycles when they struck.
The source added that the kidnappers decided to seize the woman and her son when they missed her husband who was their target.

The source who pleaded anonymity stated that the family was yet to receive information about the whereabouts of the woman and her son as at Wednesday morning, as the kidnappers were yet to establish contact with the family.

Meanwhile, a member of the staff of Aba South L.G.A., Mr. Uzoma Nwolu, was equally kidnapped at about 7:15PM, Wednesday.

The incident was said to have taken place at a corner in Ogbo Hill area of Aba, while the victim was returning from work.

It was gathered that Nwolu was pulled away from his vehicle and forced into the waiting car of the suspected kidnappers who drove away immediately.
