Car thieves have stolen a Toyota Corolla marked KUJ 56 BP belongs, the Station Manager Flo FM Umuahia, Mr Sampson Eze.
The ash-coloured Toyota Corolla car was stolen at night, at Majestic, a popular avenue in Afara Umuahia North LGA where it was parked by the owner. Eze, who is devastated by the development, said the car’s chassis number is 4T1BG22K5VU0048.
The news man begged any one with about information on the missing car to contact him at Flo FM Umuahia it the nearest Police station. It would be recalled that thieves also stole a Toyota Camry car which belonging to Steve Oko, a staff of Vanguard Newspaper in Umuahia last month.
The thieves later abandoned Oko’s car the next day at Ubakala Street in Umuahia where the rightful owner recovered it. Some Journalist who spoke on the theft expressed worry that Journalists have now become the targets of criminals in the State in recent days.
They prayed for the recovery of the stolen car. Last Tuesday, Governor Alex Otti threatened to punish any traditional ruler in the State who allows his domain to be used to commit crimes. He charged the monarchs to report any suspected criminal in their areas to the State government
