Again we are delighted to come into the presence of God in the land of the living. We know very much that our living today is not out of our righteousness, no. It’s just by God’s Grace and Mercy that we are alive today. Therefore we give Him all the Praise and Honour that dues Him.
God is our ever present God, He is always available for those that knows Hissovereignty. Our Lord in Heaven is capable to do all only when we believe in Him. If we acknowledge our Father in Heaven as our all and all, l tell us there is nothing our Father cannot do for us.
There’s nothing God cannot do both in Heaven and on earth. What we need is to call upon Him, remember He sleeps nor slumbers, always awake to adhere to our diligent request. I want to tell us that despite the fact that God is the Alpha and Omega, the Almighty Jehovah. He is the All Knowing and all seeing God, yet He expects us to call upon Him in time of need. You know why, He wants to know whether you believe in Him and also He wants to know whether you know what He can do.
Not that He is not seeing you with those troubles or challenges all around you. He is just looking at you to call upon Him, so that after all you will know that He is the one that did it for you. So you don’t take His glory to another person. God is a jealous God, you know?.
Fear not and be strong in your daily activities. Devil does not accuse you with sins, he (the devil) will cunningly put fear in someone so that faith will dissapear. And you know Christianity without the power of faith, all is in vain. Therefore stand up and say no to every spirit of fear. Fear itself can kill, believe me. We know that many are the afflictions of the righteous but our Father in Heaven delivers him from them all.
Today God is telling us to call upon Him in time of trouble, that He will answer us. No situation is too much for God to handle. Even if you think you cannot handle it, God can because He is the creator of everything created even that situation, so what is it. Just trust God and you will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.
Our God is our ever present God, right there you are, call Him, He never changes.
Our living does not mean we are free from trials and temptations, rather we are living to resist the devil and his cohorts any how they come. Do you realize that devil cannot resist the name Jesus Christ just challenge the devil by the Blood of the Lamb, my dear, you will see devil running into the bush.
The key is knowing whom you have, the ever present God is always available for those available to call upon Him, and He will show Himself strong for your sake. In that sickness, have you called God, is God familiar with your voice, l mean when you kneel to pray, can God say, that is my daughter/son, Let me know why he/she is calling. My beloved, you should be able to make God to know your voice. And God cannot know your voice when you don’t pray fervently and faithfully.
I remember one day my husband travelled to village, he only kept our feeding money. And one day my last baby fall sick, first l refuse to welcome fear, l did a one day mid- night prayer for my baby, telling God that the money in the house was not for Doctors, neither was it for any drugs, l told God, you know my husband isn’t around, but you are now my husband, so l want you (God) to heal my daughter.
I prayed with faith and before l went to bed, l sprinkled the blood of Jesus Christ 21 times upon my baby. You know what, the next morning my daughter was the first person that knocked on my door, that woke me up inshort. That morning she went to school, while before that day, she had not gone to school for days, that is God’s hand. That’s why l always call Him, Odogwu Akataga, Omemma, Omemma. He is truly a great God that can never be compared with anyone.
Let us avoid wrong mentality and apply the mental ability to recover quickly from depression, misfortune or sickness. I want to assure us that hardship makes us to be better Christians. Check very well, whenever one is comfortably placed, it’s hard for such a person to pray adequately. And from experience l have also realized that there is no crown without cross.
Whenever l say this to people, they seem not to believe, everyone is wishing for crown without cross. To be sincere, it’s not easy, remember Jesus Himself passed through cross before wearing His Ever Merited Crown, so will our own be different? I just want to tell us not to worry, our ever present God will see us through with our faith and perseverance.
It shall be well. And the last thing we should do is to compare ourselves with others. Be your self and at God’s proper time, He will decorate our heads with a Golden Crown.
In your place of work, are you being maltreated or owe salaries while our Father in Heaven has assured us that every worker deserves his/her pay.
Even at that, don’t murmur, our ever present God is looking on you to tell Him something. Have you told God your ordeals, Oh my goodness, there are so many things to tell God, arise and speak up, God is listening. Don’t look for help where there is no help. God is enough for all the challenges and situations. And any situation that will make us to look for help out side Jesus Christ, may God take such away in Jesus Mighty Name Amen.
Conclusively, as we have entered another wonderful Month of the year, may God in His infinite Mercy and goodness show us Mercy and allow us to be gracious, Amen. Wherever we put our feet we shall excel Amen. As we look this month of April, our looking shall yield us favour, Amen.
And may no man stand up against God’s will for us Amen. As we move forward into this month, let everything we touch be blessed and also a blessing to our household, Amen. Please God give us the grace to do good to people around us so that goodness will also be identified with us,
