As we discussed in one of our weekly articles, about when God Speaks, today we’re going to speak on the topic making God our special friend. The moment we decide to make God our one and only special friend,
it will always make a remarkable change in our lives.
This is because He knows us more than we know ourselves. This is just an express way of telling us that we are for Him and for Him alone. Therefore, let us try our best to do those things that please Him. Remember He holds the whole world in his hands, he knows what is to happen in the next second.
Living without Christ is a meaningless life. The life we are living comes from Him, our sensibility and our ability to do this or that come from Him. Therefore we owe Him constant Reverence and Honour. When we are close to God, He will be directing our footsteps in His own way. Since He created us in His image, He has given us power to do exploits, we will have the power that is beyond human understanding, that is God for us. Indeed, one with God is majority.
What is it that you think God cannot do for you, my brethren, l challenge you to challenge that storm, it will just go down with the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Just believe and it will come to pass. We are lucky to be known and called the children of God, l mean God, who is able to do all things, as l personally call Him Odogwu Akataka, Ome Mma!! Ome Mma!!!.
As a child of God whatever you say in the name of Jesus Christ will be granted unto you, that is an added grace to be a child of God.
Therefore in this 2022, we need to speak into all the mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights of this special year, and make a decree on things you wish to benefit from, remember our Lord promised us in Numbers 14 verse 28, saying, Oh my children “as you have spoken into my ears so shall l do unto you”, this is the Lord’s promise to His cherished ones and you will see them coming to pass in your life.
Never wish evil for others this 2022, this is because those you think are evil are also God’s children. Our prayers for them is to change from their evil ways and embrace God. Christ came for all of us, and it’s not God’s plan to see any of His children to go to hell fire. Let us learn how to pray for the good of all men because Christ died for all (The Righteous and the Sinners).
And let us avoid self righteousness, who told you – you are pure? Are you God. If Jesus can say to His Disciples,”Don’t call me Good, for it is only my Father in Heaven that is good”, Jesus whom we all know as being pure and righteous can say this, then what of us that are swimming in the ocean of unrighteousness.
Oh, may the grace of God never depart from us this year in Jesus name, Amen.
In this 2022, whoever that is spiritually and physically standing
up against us, let our Lord Jesus handle him
or her in His own Kingly way, Amen. May God show our enemies this 2022 that we are specially and differently made in Jesus Name, Amen. May God cause our enemies to kneel and to bow before us this year.
I so much love the Biblical chapter of Psalm 23 verse 5, where God promised to prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies, all the promises are of truth only for the righteous in town. when your hands are clean from hatred, envy, jealousy, backbiting etc, and other ills, why won’t we be blessed this year even beyond human understanding. God is looking for whom to bless, my brother, my sister, as our hands are up in glorification of God’s Mercy And Goodness, God will never abandon us this year, Amen.
My brethren, as God’s Special Friends, don’t allow anger to take upper hand in your life. Anger is one of the vices devil use to bring the children of God down. When anger dwells in us, the Holy Spirit goes, you know the holy spirit cannot exist where there is anger, this is because, one cannot reason well and accurate when angered. And when one is angry, he/she operates dangerously to issues that can calmly be solved.
Oh l just remember what my mother used to tell me then, she would called me and said, “my daughter anger is bad, whenever it comes, go quickly and put water into your mouth without swallowing it until the anger disappears”, my dear l won’t know whether it’s a superstitious believe, but am glad to inform us today that, that measure really helped me at my early marriage.
Secondly when you are close to someone who’s angry, l advise you to speak not to the person at the moment, because it could cause more harm. I tell you, that our body is not an abode for that anger, it will soon varnish and the person will become normal again.
Finally, in this 2022, as God’s Special Friends, let us speak well so that the wellness of life will be ours. And more importantly, let us pray for wisdom this 2022 because wisdom will help us to blossom and to achieve a great knowledge. A wiseman will be devoted to the cause of goodness and will have no regrets. When a wiseman prays, the Lord will give him a gift for words and he will use it in God’s praise.
It costs nothing to be wise, put on the yoke and be willing to learn. The opportunity is always near. However no matter how much it costs you to get wisdom, get it, because it will be well worth it. Therefore, as we endeavour in this year, let us be joyfully grateful for the Lord’s Mercy and never be ashamed to praise Him. And do your duty at the proper time and the Lord at the time He thinks proper, will give you your reward.
