Special Adviser to the Governor on Election Management, Chief Sir Martins Ejiogu (Ochendu), says the Flag-Off Rally for Governor Hope Uzodimma Second Term in Office is a mark that the Governor is largely loved by people across board and on ground to win the guber poll on November 11 2023.

He disclosed this while speaking in Owerri during the APC Governorship Flag-Off Campaign held at Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri on Wednesday.

Ejiogu said the rally which drew personalities like Vice President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Alhaji Kashim Shetima (who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu), National Chairman of APC, His Excellency, Dr Abdulahi Umar Ganduje, Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdufatai Abdulrahman, Governor Babajide Sanw-Olu (Lagos), Governor Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Governor Alia (Benue), Governor Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Governor Mai Mala-Buni (Yobe), Governor Ahmad Aliyu (Sokoto), Chairman, National Campaign Council for Imo State Governorship Election, Senator Bassey Otu, Deputy National Chairman, South, Chief Emma Enukwu and others was a clear indication that the Governor is really a man of the people who is on ground to win the governorship election.

He said the achievements of the Governor will earn him victory in the forthcoming election, saying Uzodimma’s vision to develop Imo State and make life more meaningful and pleasing will be completely realized when the Governor is reelected.

The SA on Election Management reflected that “Owerri/Orlu, Owerri/Okigwe, Owerri/Mbaise/Umuahia (ongoing), rural roads, Urban roads constructed, investment in education, health sectors, youth empowerment on ICT skills, regular payment of salaries to civil servants, housing projects, dredging of Oguta/Orashi River to link Atlantic Ocean for improved commerce, trade and tourism, planned recruitment of primary school teachers, among other laudable projects are landmarks achievements which will make Imo State stand tall among other states in South East and Nigeria in general”.

The illustrious son of Isu LGA and fair politician called on the good people of Imo State to come out in their numbers during the November 11 2023 guber election and give their massive votes to the Governor to enable him emerge victoriously.
