The South East APC National Vice Chairman, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has urged Imo people to continue to give their full support to Governor Hope Uzodimma to enable him win the November 11 guber election to continue his excellent works and democratic goodies in the state.
Arodiogbu added that when APC retains power in Imo State, peace, security, joy, conviviality, social amenities, development, employment, healthcare delivery, trading, commerce, industry, agriculture/farming and economic prosperity shall be the hallmarks of the state.
He said the state is blessed with material and human resources, but needs a sound and selfless leader as Senator Governor Hope Uzodimma to harness these potentials and gifts to assuage difficulties.
Speaking during the formal inauguration ceremony of the Imo State National Governorship Election Campaign Council (NGECC) by the National Chairman of APC, Alhaji Umar Ganduje, held at Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square Owerri Saturday, Arodiogbu observed that “Uzodimma has performed excellently especially in the areas of quality road construction, rehabilitation, youth rejuvenation through ICT training, equipment and empowerment, healthcare delivery system, regular salary payment to public workers, increment on their wages and promotion, ongoing recruitment of primary school teachers, planned construction of classroom blocks, renovation of dilapidated structures, provision of desks, installation of solar lights and boreholes in public primary schools in the 27 local government areas of the state aimed at enhancing quality education”.
Arodiogbu who has been actively galvanizing voters, canvassing support for Governor Hope Uzodimma’s reelection in several ways, branded and provided caps which were worn at the inauguration ceremony to give more coloration to the well attended rally.
While defining Uzodimma as a pragmatic politician, selfless leader with deep sense of love and kindness for humanity, the South East APC National Vice Chairman thanked National Chairman of APC, Alhaji Umar Ganduje, his retinues and other members of the party including supporters for gracing the inauguration ceremony which he adjudged as a mega political rally.
The sound medic, fine politician and illustrious son of Imo State, also called on rival political parties to stop wasting their resources, but join hands with the APC led government to sustain peace, security, social development and economic prosperity in the state.
