The multi- million naira Ihiagwa Civic Center Project will soon be completed as adequate arrangement has been perfected by the people and the committee saddled with the duty to see to its completion.
Chairman, Ihiagwa Town Management Committee (ITMC), Engr. Emeka Udokporo, gave the assurance while speaking to newsmen during an event held at Ihiagwa, Owerri West, Imo State, Sunday.
He noted that the Civic Centre Project initiated by ITMC will add to the development of the area when completed. Udokporo, who appreciated the committee for the initiative, adding that it will add to the economic, social advancement of the community. He promised that the committee will intensify efforts to the success of Ihiagwa for enhanced unity, peace, security and comfort.
The traditional rulers of Ihiagwa and Dindi- Ihiagwa autonomous communities, HRH, Eze Sir Lucky Iheanyichwu Ajoku and HRH, Eze Kingsley Odu respectively said that the people were committed to anything that could enhance prosperity and development of their communities. The monarchs added that the committee was set up to undertake projects jointly owned by Dindi and Ihiagwa autonomous communities and forge a way forward for their development.
