The Imo State Government House staff welfare has elected her new executive officers to run their affairs for the next three years.
Performing the inauguration of the Chairman and members of the new executive, the Principal Secretary to the governor of Imo State
Dr.(Mrs) Irene Chima congratulated them and charged them to go into action immediately improving their welfare.
She urged them to ensure that every staff is carried along in the programmes and activities of the welfare scheme in order to have a harmonious working relationship with each other in Government House.
She also advised the new executive committee members to embark on the review of the staff welfare with the aim of bringing it up to date in line with current realities.
Responding on behalf of the executive, the Chairman who is also the Head of Administration and Finance, Government House, Owerri Mrs. Julia Ukaigwe thanked the Principal Secretary for making out time to perform the inauguration herself irrespective of her busy schedules.
She promised not to fail the management and staff of government House, Owerri bearing in mind that a lot is expected from them.
